1. Choose a tarot pack that is right for you. The Rider Waite pack is a great one for beginners.
2. Spend time looking at each tarot card - the symbols, stories and images - you begin to feel the "energy" of the card. Try to familiarize yourself with the names of the books so that you can easily recognize them when you pull them out of the pack.
3. Learn the meaning of Tarot cards. Discover the traditional meanings, symbolism and numerological and elementary associations of
books. You don't have to memorize everything - just learn the basics to get started.
4. Draw a Tarot card a day. Ask yourself in your higher self, "What do I need to know for today?" As the day goes on, reflect on what the book means to you and create a personal and intuitive connection with the books.
